At Glenbervie School, sport plays a vital role in fostering teamwork, skill development, and fun. We offer sports clubs for hockey, netball, and basketball, where students can practice, compete in local competitions, and build strategies to achieve their sporting goals. Beyond these clubs, our students engage in a range of summer and winter sports, including swimming, ensuring a well-rounded experience. Whole-school events such as athletics, cross country, swimming sports, and Winter Sports Day bring the entire community together, showcasing talent and encouraging participation. Sport at Glenbervie not only enhances coordination and movement but also provides an avenue for personal growth, confidence, and enjoyment.

Swimming

Our school pool enables us to provide swimming instruction to students in Terms 1 and 4 each year. During these terms, when it is warm enough, students swim between 2-3 times a week. Swimming caps must be worn.
