At Glenbervie School we have 4 different houses; Ruru (Red), Kea (Green), Weka (Yellow), and Tui (Blue).

Year 6 House Leaders are appointed at the beginning of each new year and must prepare a speech detailing what makes them the best candidate for the job.

House leaders are responsible for organising house meetings, looking after younger children and being role models for other children in the school.

All children are encouraged to dress in house colours on sports days to earn points for their respective houses. A house cup is awarded to the house with the most points at the end of the year.
