4WD SCENIC SAFARI

This is a one day tag along event organised by Glenbervie School and the Whangarei 4WD Club. It is suitable for all road legal, low range 4WD vehicles (club) and, at the discretion of the organisers, late model high clearance SUVs with EBS and traction control (shiny). Examples are RAV4s and Pajeros. The Safari commences with scrutineering at 8.30am on Saturday morning at Glenbervie Forest HQ, Maruata Road, Glenbervie. The trail meanders through Rayonier New Zealand Glenbervie Forest and adjoining farms. These venues are normally inaccessible to the public and this Safari will provide you with a unique opportunity to traverse the countryside and experience magnificent views of native bush, forest, farmland and the coast. This promises to be great day out for individuals and families, with track options from easy going to more challenging. Each group of vehicles will be supported by guides from the Whangarei 4WD Club.
This is a great family day out and will provide opportunities for all members of your family to explore and enjoy river valleys, native bush, farmlands, animal life and expansive views.
